‘At-Height’ Inspections.
Most inspections are carried out from ‘Ground Level’, which in the majority of cases is adequate, as 90% of damage occurs between the ground & the 1st Beam level, also the racking structure tends to be more ‘flexible’ the further away it is from the ground. Sometimes however, there maybe the need for an ‘At-Height Inspection’, especially where there are other ancillary components, such as ‘Shelf Beams’ [for Cantilever Racking], which are often obscured by the loads beneath & as such are not visible from ground level.
For these types of inspection, a ‘rig’ containing a ‘Laser Level’ & a ‘Go-Pro’ camera are attached to the Fork-Lift Truck, which then drives along the length of the racking, recording each level for review & assessment ‘off-site’.

Training.
We also offer ‘Rack Safety Awareness Training’, to help advise on how you can implement your own in-house inspection program, which consists of :- reporting of damage as it happens, weekly & monthly inspections, give guidance on damage criteria, how to record your findings & the appropriate action to take. Proper implementation of this regime will help you keep on top of responsibilities as a dutiful employer.

It is a legal requirement to inspect & maintain your Storage Equipment, so that it remains safe for use & is maintained in a safe condition.
